friday favorites

12:57:00 PM

Hope you all had a lovely (short) week. I love having long weekends, but somehow, even with no work on Monday, the week still feels ridiculously long. I just don't understand it. But I'm so glad it's Friday! June is officially under way, and Conrad's mom Cathy is in town for the weekend, so we'll be spending lots of time with family ❤

In other news, we're heading to France so soon! At the end of the month, we'll be heading to Savoie (followed by a week in Stockholm) to celebrate our marriage with the French side of my family, and I could not be more excited. I haven't been to France in nearly five years, and it has been way too long. I'm already dreaming about REAL baguettes, fabulous stinky cheeses, good wine, and, of course, all my amazing relatives that will finally get to meet Conrad! I'm starting back up on Duolingo as we speak...

And now, favorites time!

A Good Man
When he was a teenager, Bryan Wilmoth’s father kicked him out of his family home after discovering Bryan was gay. Homeless and separated from his seven younger brothers and sisters, Bryan learned to survive on his own and went on to become the loving force that reunited his adult siblings as a family.
